LUSH AND GAUDY WATER
----------------------------------

This is definitely only for die-hard, fantasy-perfection-loving types who want clear, tropical water. It's clear, it's bright, it's obscenely gaudy.

There are a few versions on offer depending on whether you want SI, dungeons, etc done.

I have NOT touched the lava.

The underwater is much brighter and less murky than Vanilla, with a greater view distance, so beware.

I seriously doubt this will be anyone's cup of tea. But there are shitloads of good water mods out there to pick from. This is just one more to try.

And yes, I know the underwater surface is too bright at night, but I'm fucked if I can figure out how to fix it and I don't really care.

Consider it in the experimental stage. Hopefully it will all work. Tested it with the basic weather types and at different times of day. So far so good. If nothing else, it's a bit different. The water texture adds a bit of a kick and a few extra highlights. Personally, I always found the underwater surface to be far too boring. This isn't ideal...but it's a novelty if nothing else.

I've uploaded a small optional pack with some slightly different coloured water textures. Bit darker, less saturated, etc. Hopefully will help for people who want less gaudiness.

TWEAK:
----------

I highly recommend you make sure the following settings are this way in your Oblivion.ini file:

bUseWaterReflectionsMisc=1
bUseWaterReflectionsStatics=1
bUseWaterReflectionsTrees=1
bUseWaterReflectionsActors=1
bUseWaterReflections=1

The reflections make things look a damn sight nicer, so it's worth checking that they're all set to 1. (Of course you don't have to, but it does look infinitely better.)

Another optional tweak is to set:

uDepthRange=200

It's entirely your choice to do this or not. I personally like my water with an added dash of transparency.
